President NGO PFNGC, WOOMB BENIN
Since 2016, a whole teh has been working with passion and determination to popularize the Billings Ovulation Method (BOM) to the best of its ability to young girls of childbearing age, women and couples in Benin.
This method, notwithstanding its simple nature to apply, 100% natural and without side effects, is unknown to peoples and countries who, in the absence of a known alternative, are obliged to use only modern birth planning methods. Discovered in 1963 by the Australian medical couple, John and Evelyn Billings, validated by the WHO and accepted by religious denominations, the BOM makes it possible to space births, promote pregnancies for hypofertile couple and acquire better reproductive health. The global institution WOOMB International is the custodian..
Thanks to our NGO-PFNGC, the first organization in French-speaking Africa affiliated with WOOMB International, Benin was selected, in front of other nominees, to host the international WOOMB conference, which is held every two years and brings together affiliated countries around the world. After successively Australia, Malaysia, Croatia and Costa Rica in 2018, it is Africa's turn to host the 5th edition in 2020. It is a privilege for our country Benin, which will host, for the first time in history, WOOMB's international meetings on the African continent. To this end, the central theme of this edition is: "The Billings Ovulation Method, Good News for Africa". For 6 days, from 06 to 11 March 2020, the conference will be held in Cotonou and will bring together more than 50 countries from around the world, more than 500 people and delegations, several experts from WOOMB International. At the end of the conference, several professionals from Benin and elsewhere will be trained and certified; joints agreements will be signed and a vast BOM extension progrh in Benin and Africa will be implemented.
The International WOOMB Conference remains a unique opportunity! It will bring together public, private and elite decision-makers from Benin and Africa to discuss challenges of natural fhily planning through BOM and reproductive health; to increase the critical mass of BOM monitors for the education of populations. That's why we: ONG-PFNGC,WOOMB BENIN, WOOMB France and WOOMB international are proud to be able to count on an unprecedented mobilization of the nation's driving forces in this case: the Government of Benin, the institutions of the Republic, development partners, civil society, religious denominations, African delegations, international organizations, companies etc. who will commit themselves and participate alongside us for the success of this international meeting. Convinced that only an inclusive approach to reproductive health issues will enable us to build an effective policy for sustainable and viable human development, we invite you to come support and enjoy the invaluable fruits of this conference on controlling fertility and 100% natural family planning.
This event is for us! In the unit, let's save lives to protect our jar.
